Saturday's La Liga predictions including Barcelona vs. Las Palmas

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Barcelona vs. Las Palmas.

Getafe vs. Sevilla (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Sevilla's battle to stay out of the La Liga relegation zone will continue on Saturday afternoon, when they head to the Spanish capital to tackle Getafe.

The visitors are currently 16th in the La Liga table, six points ahead of 18th-placed Cadiz, while Getafe occupy 10th position, boasting 38 points from their 29 matches during a solid campaign.

We say: Getafe 1-0 Sevilla

Getafe have the seventh-best home record in La Liga this season, while Sevilla have the 14th-worst record on their travels. We are expecting Saturday's clash to be a competitive affair, and it would not be a surprise to see a draw, but we just have a feeling that Getafe will navigate their way to all three points.

Almeria vs. Osasuna (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Basement side Almeria will be bidding to make it back-to-back victories in Spain's top flight when they welcome Osasuna to Power Horse Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Almeria managed to secure their first league win of the season before the international break, beating Las Palmas 1-0, while Osasuna suffered a 4-2 defeat to Real Madrid last time out.

We say: Almeria 1-1 Osasuna

Almeria have only lost one of their last six league matches, and having picked up a huge result against Las Palmas, we are finding it difficult to back them to suffer a defeat here. Osasuna are a strong side, though, so we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw at Power Horse Stadium.

Valencia vs. Mallorca (Saturday, 5.30pm)

European-chasing Valencia will be aiming to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they resume their campaign at home to Copa del Rey finalists Mallorca on Saturday evening.

The home side entered the international break off the back of a 1-0 loss at Villarreal, while Mallorca recorded a 1-0 victory over Granada last time out to ease their relegation concerns.

We say: Valencia 2-1 Mallorca

Valencia have not enjoyed their recent meetings with Mallorca, winning just one of their last six encounters, but Los Che have been impressive at Mestalla in the league this season, and we are backing them to secure all three points this weekend.

Barcelona vs. Las Palmas (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be bidding to move to within five points of La Liga leaders Real Madrid when they resume their campaign at home to Las Palmas on Saturday night.

The Catalan giants are currently second in the La Liga table, eight points off the summit, while Las Palmas occupy 11th position, picking up 37 points from 29 games during a successful campaign.

We say: Barcelona 2-0 Las Palmas

Las Palmas deserve a lot of credit for what has been an impressive campaign back at this level, but Barcelona are on a roll at the moment, and we are expecting Xavi's side to post their 20th La Liga victory of the campaign to move to within five points of the leaders Real Madrid.
